A little about me…
I was a statistic – on paper at least. Raised by a single mother in a home marked by addiction, loss, and instability, I left home at sixteen and learned early how to survive on my own. I became a widow at nineteen, a single mother with more questions than answers, and very little hope for what came next.
But God had other plans. I cried out to Him in my brokenness – not knowing scripture, not knowing theology – only knowing that He had to be real. And He met me there.
More than thirty years later, I am a wife, a mother of five, a grandmother to eight, and a woman deeply rooted in faith. I have spent many years in Christian education and ministry, walking alongside women and teens who feel unseen, unheard, and written off—just like I once was.
This blog is not about perfection. It’s about obedience. It’s about grace. It’s about what happens when God says otherwise. If you’re here because your story feels messy, unfinished, or misunderstood—welcome. You’re in the right place….
Because statistics don’t get the final word—God does.
